Militant to award capital punishment to alleged rapist

Imphal, Nov 22 (UNI) The Peoples Revolutionary party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has announced to award capital punishment to one of its cadre allegedly involved in a rape case.

The Commanding Officer of the proscribed outfit said in a press hand out that three others involved in the alleged rape have also been identified.

The three culprits were asked to surrender failing which they would face dire consequences.

The outfit said it respects the dignity of women and hence the death penalty was awarded to its cadre.
