EGM approves Geojit's issue of shares to BNP Paribas

Kochi, Nov 22: Kochi-based Geojit Financial Services Limited today approved issue of company shares to BNP Paribas S A, subject to regulatory approvals.

According to an official release here today, the company, in an Extraordinary General Body Meeting approved issue of 7.96 crore equity shares of Rs one each to BNP Paribas at Rs 26 per share.

The preferential allotment worked out to 33.35 per cent of the post-ESOP equity.

Presently, Geojit's capital was Rs 15.22 crore and after conversion of existing stock options, would be Rs 23.87 crore, the release added.
