Bhilwara, Nov 22 (UNI) In a significant development, Dalits, in the caste-ridden Sulia village of this district in Rajasthan, will enter a temple here on November 26, in the presence of a state minister and officials.

The village has been witness to a long-standing feud between Dalits and the influential Gurjars, who have unleashed discrimination against the community including, denying them entry into temples.

State Panchayati Raj and Rural Development minister Kalu Lal Gurjar will be present on the occasion and would oversee Dalits performing religious rites in the Chamunda temple.

He said Sulia falls in his constituency and often a row has erupted over Dalits' entry into the temple.

He said some people, who have an eye over temple property and some vested interest were making a hue and cry over Dalits entering the temple just to milead the people.
