Air Arabia offers special fares to Istanbul

Chennai, Nov 22 (UNI) Air Arabia LLC, the only international low cost airline for air travelers in Chennai, today announced special fares to Turkey's commercial capital Istanbul, the only city in the world built on two continents - Europe and Asia.

Fares start from Rs 24,900, including all taxes and surcharge, for return journey with an option to see UAE on the way at no extra cost.

Air Arabia Manager for Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu Mayank Dhingra said the fares were valid until December 31, 2006, and hotel arrangements could also be done through the airline office.

He said, ''We are delighted to offer local travelers the opportunity to visit fascinating Turkey with our signature unbeatable fares.'' ''Passengers could visit Turkey and make a stopover in Dubai.

Seasoned travelers are always on the look out for new exciting locales and Turkey fits the bill perfectly,'' he added.

In Istanbul you will have to be generous with time since it has so much to show. The old palaces, the great mosques with soaring minarets, ancient churches, museums, bazaars, the Istanbul Strait and others are wonderful sites worth seeing, he addded.

Air Arabia were curently operating flights to Aleppo and Damascus (Syria); Alexandria, Assiut, Luxor (Egypt); Amman (Jordan); Astana and Almaty (Kazakhstan); Bahrain; Beirut (Lebanon); Colombo (Sri Lanka); Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh (KSA), Doha (Qatar); Khartoum (Sudan); Kuwait; Jaipur, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Trivandrum and Chennai (India); Muscat (Oman); Sana'a (Yemen); Sharjah (UAE) and Tehran (Iran) and to Europe with Istanbul (Turkey).
