Platinum jumps over 4 pct as funds buy, gold firms
SINGAPORE, Nov 21 (Reuters) Platinum rose more than 4 percent on Tuesday and hit its highest level in six months as speculative buying persisted, fuelled by long-running talk about a platinum exchange traded fund (ETF).
-- Platinum rose to $1,305, its best level since May 24, higher than $1,251/1,256 an ounce late in New York on Monday.
-- Spot gold rose to $623.70/624.70 ounce from $622.20/623.20 late in New York.
-- Silver edged up to $12.77/12.84 an ounce from $12.74/12.81 late in New York.
-- Palladium rose to $320/325 from $319/323.
