Mota, D'Souza advance in Malabar Hill Club Mah Selection tourney
Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) Shravan Mota of Nagpur and Mumbai's Rovin D'Souza fashioned fluent second round wins in the Malabar Hill Club Maharashtra State Selection Billiards&Snooker Tournament at the Malabar Hill Club today.
Mota ended Khaim Talib's run with a 69-9, 58-9 win in the best-of-three frames sub junior snooker second round, while D'Souza stopped Siddharth Khemani with a 91-24, 42-11 win.
In a close first round tie, Karan Chugh endured a surprise challenge from ninth grader Nikhil Ghadge, who was playing his maiden competition, before surging to an exciting 50-40, 29-59, 63-41 win.
