Calcutta High Court rejects Jagdish Sharda's bail plea

Kolkata, Nov 20 (UNI) A two judge bench of Calcutta high Court today rejected an anticipatory bail plea of one of the main accused, Jagdish Sharda, in medical kit scam.

The bench, comprising Justice Alok Kumar Bose and Justice Tapash Giri, threw out the bail of Jagdish Sharda on the ground that there was enough evidence produced before the court by the prosecution.

Public prosecutor Kaji Safiullah said two persons had already been arrested in the case.

With the rejection of his bail, Jagdish Sharda might be arrested soon, he said.
