Bajaj Allianz's life insurance for rural masses

New Delhi, Nov 20: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance today launched an insurance plan 'Samraksha' addressing the demands of the rural community.

Samraksha, a single premium term assurance plan where one needs to pay just once to be covered for the chosen term, is being offered in two convenient terms of 5/10 years and for a life cover of Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

The premium for this starts from as low as Rs 75 and the plan is available from 18-45 years of age.

''With our branches in 900 plus towns now we can provide life insurance products to the rural heartlands as well,'' said Allianz Life Insurance Company CEO and Country Manager (Allianz) Sam Ghosh.

The company has also tied up with Godrej Aadhar, a chain of rural malls and various other rural organisations, SHGs and NGOs with extensive reach and network.

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has a customer base of close to two million customers.
