Aiyar to grace Siang River festival in Arunachal

Itanagar, Nov 20 (UNI) DoNER Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar would grace the Siang River festival at Pasighat under East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh in January .

Talking to newspersons today state government spokesman and water resources Minister Tako Dabi informed that the seven-day mega festival beginning on January 11 is the oldest festival and showcase the rich tradition and culture of the tribal people of the state.

The festival, to be celebrated simultaneously in East Siang, West Siang and Upper Siang districts, would begin at Tuting and culminate at Pasighat after Yingkion, Boleng, Along and Mechuka. UNI UPB KK RN1534
