2 persons killed, 3 injured in Jaunpur road mishap

Jaunpur, Nov 20 (UNI) At least two pilgrims were killed and three others injured when their vehicle carrying them collided with a truck here today.

Police said the mishap occured near Naupedva 'Bazar' under Baksa police station area, where a vehicle rammed into a truck, when it was on way to Pratapgarh from Kashi Vishvanath.

While Lokesh Bhakt Vatsal (35) and his mother Vimla Devi (65) died on the spot, Abha Devi (30), Krishna Devi (42) and Dinesh were severely injured. They were rushed to district hospital from where they were referred to Allahabad for treatment.
