Tripura observes 89th anniversary of Indira Gandhi

Agartala, Nov 19 (UNI) Tripura observed the 89th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi today with due solemnity.

The main function was organised here with unfurling the national flag at the state Congress Bhavan.

All the party leaders paid floral tributes at Gandhi Ghat near here and to her statues in different parts of the state.

Priyadarshini awards, in honour of Indira Gandhi, would be given to the Congress leaders and social worker Baby Gupta.
