One person dies and 36 taken ill due to suspected food poisoning

Bangalore, Nov 19 (UNI) One person died and 36 others were taken ill due to suspected food poisoning in Banadahalli village in Hassan District of Karnataka today.

Police said the victims started feeling dizzy and began vomiting after consuming food prepared at a family function.

While one person died, the others were admitted to a government hospital in Hassan and their condition was stated to be out of danger.

A case has been registered and investigations are on.
