National seminar on erosion of judicial values in Patna
Patna, Nov 19 (UNI) Bihar State Bar Council will organise a two-day seminar on 'erosion of values in judicial system and its refurbishments' here on December 9-10.
Addressing a press conference here, President of the State Bar Council and senior advocate Rajendra Prasad Singh said Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India, several judges of apex court and various High Courts, besides leading legal luminaries across the country, would attend the seminar.
He said the seminar will discuss in details about the problems being faced by ordinary citizens due to non availability of witnesses, unnecessary adjournments and non submission of final forms by the police, especially in which high profile persons are involved.
"Victims are suffering for want of proper prosecution of the accused and they are running to courts for decades," he maintained.
Vice-chairman of the state bar council Baleshwar Prasad Sharma, member of bar council of India, Suraj Narain Prasad Sinha and other members of the bar council were present in the press meet.
