Legal advisor of Gorakhpur University arrested

Siddharthnagar, Nov 19 (UNI) A legal advisor and an employee of the Gorakhpur University were arrested for allegedly threatening a college principal here.

Police today said a legal advisor Vidhya Sagar Pandey and an employee Rakesh Tiwari of the Gorakhpur University alongwith their four associates stormed into the Buddha Vidhyapeeth Degree College, Siddharthnagar yesterday and threatened principal Prahlad Pandey.

Irked over the incident, teachers and students of the college staged a 'dharna' in front of the college premises and demanded quick arrest of the accused.

Later, Vidhya Sagar and Rakesh were nabbed, while hunt was on to arrest their aides.
