Court slaps lifer to 5 accused in journalist murder case

Mainpuri, Nov 19 (UNI) A court here has pronounced life imprisonment to five accused in a journalist murder case here.

According to prosecution, on November 29, 2001 -- a journalist, Grish Bhadauria, was shot dead by assailants Yogendra Singh, Shivpal Singh, Prithvipal Singh, Jagdish Singh and Vinay Kumar over a dispute under Pannahar police station area.

On the basis of substantial evidence and testimony, Fast Track Court (II) Judge Vijendra Singh handed down life imprisonment to all the five accused last evening.
