Kolhapur district petrol dealers to join petrol purchase bandh

Kolhapur, Nov 18 (UNI) The Kolhapur district Petrol-Diesel Dealers Association has decided to join the state-wide indefinite petrol purchase bandh starting from Monday.

The state-wide bandh call has been given by the federation of all Maharashtra petrol dealers associations to press for their various pending demands, said a press release issued here today by the local association.

The dealers have no alternative but to launch an indefinite petrol purchase bandh agitation to attract the government's attention as earlier agitations in July and September had proved in vain due to government's apathy, the release added.
