Improve tourist infrastructure: FKCCI tells Karnataka govt.
Bangalore, Nov 18 (UNI) The Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) today welcomed the state government's initiative to frame a new tourism policy intended to exploit the rich but untapped potential in Karnataka.
In a press release the FKCCI President R C Purohit appealed the Tourism Department to take inputs from all stake holders, including the Chamber, and create better infrastructural facilities to attract more tourists.
The Chamber would extend all co-operation, including its members participating in public-private projects to promote new destinations, while strengthening the existing ones, he added.
