SAIL's Bhilai plant bags Rajiv Gandhi National Quality award

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Public-sector Steel Authority of India Ltd's Bhilai steel plant has bagged the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality award for the current year in the ''Best of All'' category.

According to an official statement issued here today, the award for ''Large Scale Manufacturing Industry'' has been won by Lucas-TVS Ltd, Chennai.

Hyderabad-based Nipuna Services Ltd was adjudged the winner of ''Large Scale Service Industry'' award and Himedia Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Nasik, bagged ''Small Scale Manufacturing Industry'' title.

Awards and commendation certificates for the 13th prestigious Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Awards were announced by Mr Sharad Pawar, Minister of Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
