Naidu feels Indo-Pak talks won't be of use
Chennai, Nov 14 (UNI) The India-Pakistan Foreign Secretary level talks for setting up an anti-terrorism mechanism would be of no use as long as the latter abetted terrorism, senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said today.
Asked about the two-day meeting between Pakistan Foreign Secretary Riaz Mhuhammad Khan and Indian Foreign Secretary Shiv shankar Menon, he claimed that 'nothing is going to happen, Till Pakistan stops abetting terrorism, any number of meetings will not help solve problems.' He said, asserting that India-Pakistan relations would improve only when Pakistan destroyed all terrorist camps in their country.
Investigations showed that terrorists hailing from Pakistan had a hand in all terrorist attacks in India, including the recent serial bomb blasts in Mumbai, he said.
He said Pakistan aiding and abetting terrorism was open knowledge among the international community and it was high time India stepped up its campaign and made the latter act on the issue.
