India win 17 medals at Asian Taekwondo Championship

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Indian players shone brightly winning as many as 17 medals with three Golds, four Silvers and 10 Bronze at the third Asian ITF Taekwondo championship that concluded at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium here today.

North Korea ruled the roost as they won 20 medals with 15 Golds, three Silver and two Bronze. Korean Pak Chol Sung, who bagged four Golds in different categories, was declared best male player while Jegal Un, who also won as many Golds was adjudged best female athlete.
