HC issues contempt of court notice to Principal Secretary

Allahabad, Nov 14 (UNI) The Allahabd High Court has issued contempt of court notice to principal secretary -- education Rajeev Kumar and vice chancellor of Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra Bhumitra Dev for not complying with an order of August 28, 2006 passed by a division bench of the court.

Justice A P Sahi passed this order on a contempt petition filed by a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Amar Singh Yadav alleging that inspite of the report of task force constituted by the order of the High Court, the respondent failed to implement the report of the task force regarding irregularities in degree and inter colleges of the Mahamaya district.
