Bomb hoax in a school near Bangladesh border

Kishnagar, Nov 14 (UNI) Tension gripped Gede area today in Nadia district near the Bangladesh border following a bomb hoax in a school.

Police sources said headmaster of Gede Sammilani High school received a call informing about a bomb at around 1200 hours and he informed the police.

Police and the BSF reached the spot and immediately vacated the school. Around 1200 students and teachers were in the school when the call was received by the headmaster.

The BSF and police jointly started combing but did not find any bomb yet. The whole area has been cordoned off.
