3 accused in murder of Youth Congressman surrender

Puducherry, Nov 14 (UNI) The three accused in the murder of Youth Congress state secretary Gopi today surrendered before the court at Cuddalore, according to police.

Senior Superintendent of Police Chaya Sharma told newspersons here today that they would be taken into police custody.

She added that of the ten accused in the murder case, six had surrendered and a search was on for the rest.

To a question, she said there was no political interference in the investigation of any case in Pondicherry, as alleged by AICC general secretary V Narayansamy, MP.
