Mayawati to launch BSP poll campaign in Punjab on Nov 30

Jalandhar, Nov 13 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati will launch her party's campaign for the next assembly election in Punjab with a rally near here on November 30.

A party spokesman told UNI here today that Ms Mayawati will address a rally at Bhagwanpura village on the Nakodar Road.

Preparations are being made for the successful and smooth conduction of the rally.

Party general secretary and incharge of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Jammu Kashmir state units, Narendra Kashyap reviewed the preparations with leaders and functionaries of the party state unit here today.

Mr Kashyap also discussed other election related organisational matters of the party, the spokesman added.

The party had already expressed its intention to contest all 117 assembly seats on its own.
