CARE USA President calls on Health Minister Ramadoss

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) Dr Helene D Gayle, President and CEO, CARE USA today called on Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Anbumani Ramadoss and apprised him of the work her organisation was doing in India.

She said CARE can help in bringing about a synergy in integrating the various programmes towards total healthcare.

The minister appreciated the offer and said, he would consider the matter.

CARE USA is an international organisation and has contributed to the rebuilding efforts after Tsunami. The organisation also does work in the field of women's empowerment, child nutrition and health.
