BJP stage novel stir to protest price hike in Tirupati

Tirupati, Nov 13 (uni) About 50 workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party staged a novel stir by wearing chilli garlands and eating raw rice in protest against the escalating price rise of essential commodities at the busy four piller junction here today Led by BJP town president S Sreenivasulu, the workers assembled at the busy four pillar junction and ate uncooked food by looking at raw vegetables which were hanged in a tent.

They raised slogans against the Centre and the Andhra Pradesh government for their failure to check the price rise of essential commodities.
