Priyadarshan marks 25 years in films with 'BhagamBhag'

Mumbai, Nov 11 (UNI) Noted film director Priyadarshan marks his 25 years in filmdom this month and is all set to bring an Akshay Kumar-Govinda starrer 'BhagamBhag' to cinema halls on December 22.

Talking to reporters here today, Priyadarshan said he has a cast known for their humour skills, quirky story, hilarious situational comedy and thrilling fast pace.

Akshay Kumar and Govinda feature in this comedy along with Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Tanushree Dutta, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi and Jackie Shroff.

The film is about the hilarious trials and tribulations that Akshay and Govinda together go through as theatre artistes with Paresh Rawal's theatre group, he added.

Priyadarshan, who has directed 69 films in his career, said it was unfair to call him just a comedy genre filmmaker.

''I have also made films like 'Viraasat' and 'Kala Pani' to name a few. 'Hera Pheri', 'Malamaal Weekly' and 'Garam Masala' were comedies which have done well,'' he added.
