Non-bailable warrants issued against Raja Bhaiyya, kin

Pratapgarh, Nov 11 (UNI) A local court issued non-bailable warrants against Uttar Pradesh Food Minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias 'Raja Bhaiyya', his father Uday Pratap Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Akshay Pratap Singh here last evening.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Satyanaand Upadhayaya issued the warrants on three criminal cases registered against them in Manikpur, Kunda and Nawabganj police stations.

The court also rejected the plea from Raja Bhaiyya and 25 others for exemption from court attendance.

On the direction of the High Court, the matter has to be disposed of in six months time after framing of charges.

Uday Pratap Singh is at present lodged in the district jail after being convicted by a POTA court.
