Merger Convention of DIC(K), NCP tomorrow

Kochi, Nov 11 (UNI) Union Agriculture Minister and NCP leader Sharad Pawar and DIC leader K Karunakaran will attend the formal 'merger convention' of the two parties here tomorrow.

Talking to newspersons here yesterday, DIC (K) Secretary N Venugopal said more than one lakh workers of both parties were expected to attend the convention, which would mark the coming together of the two former Congress party stalwarts.

The DIC(K) Seva Dal volunteers would give a guard of honour to Mr Karunakaran, Mr Pawar and DIC(K) President K Muraleedharan, Mr Venugopal added.
