Gujarat is an industrial friendly state: Industry minister

Mumbai, Nov 11: Gujarat Industry Minister Anil Patel today said that Gujarat is an industrial friendly state which offers all facilities to investors at their doorstep.

Mr Patel was addressing a meeting of the All India Association of Industries (AIAI) here. He said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has brought in the much needed transparency by ensuring Single Window Clearance and all other requisite facilities for investors in Gujarat.

Gujarat provides 24 hrs uninterrupted power supply, besides, the absense of red-tapism ensures smooth and faster growth of Industry, he said.

The President of the All India Association of Industries (AIAI) Mr Vijay G Kalantri, agreed that Gujarat is indeed an industrial friendly state but pointed out that there needs to be much more visibility regarding various incentives and infrastructure facilities provided to investors in the state.
