Court slaps life imprisonment on 3 murder accused

Jaunpur, Nov 11 (UNI) A court has pronounced life imprisonment on three persons accused in a murder case here.

According to the prosecution, on March 30 last year, Rama Shankar alias Pappu-- a native of Arand village was hacked to death by three miscreants Surendra, Upendra and Guddu over a dispute under Shahganj Kotwali police station area.

Later, an FIR was lodged by the deceased's father Palakdhari.

On the basis of substantial evidence and testimony, Additional District and Sessions Court (Fast Track Court) Judge Amarjeet Tripathi yesterday sentenced life imprisonment to all the accused, besides imposing a penalty of Rs 10,000.
