Tendulkar to be co-creator of food products with Sunfeast

Mumbai, Nov 10 (UNI) Sunfeast, the flagship brand from ITC Ltd -Foods Division, today launched 'Sunfeast Sachin's Fit Kit' range of high quality health food products in collaboration with India's batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

With this tie-up Sachin will not only play a role of a brand ambassador but will also become a co-creator in the range of the health food products, which are expected to hit the markets before the 2007 World Cup begins in March in the Carribean.

Sachin, as a co-creator, will be an integral part of the product development process and provide inputs on creating healthy food products.

Speaking about his role, Sachin said,''I will give my inputs and sharing my experiences of the past 17 years as a sportsman and what it requires to keep the energy levels high and maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating the right stuffs.

''These products would not be just for the sportspersons, but also target the common man and children. We will develop such food products which would ensure a healthy lifestyle,'' Sachin added.

Ravi Naware, Divisional Chief Executive of ITC Ltd-Foods Division, said they will creat products for the benefit of youngsters taking advice from Sachin.

''Sachin has for the last 17 years shown what it takes and needs to be done to keep yourself fit and also how to maintain your body, and we will use this experience to build a brand for the youngsters to show them the way to a healthy lifestyle,'' he added.
