SUCI demands annulment of death sentence

Mumbai, Nov 10 (UNI) Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI), Mumbai Unit today demanded immediate annulment of the death sentence of deposed Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

SUCI Mumbai In charge Mr Avdesh Tyagi, in a statement, said demonstrations will be held tomorrow at Azad Maidan to lodge their protest against the planned execution of Saddam Hussein.

He said that the US imperialist who illegally invaded and occupied Iraq, flouting all international norms, subverted its freedom and sovereignty to fulfill their sinister design of capturing its oilfields, do not have any propriety to convict its head of state.

Tyagi called upon the freedom loving people of the world to come forward to stall this planned murder masterminded by US imperialists rulers and also the withdrawal of American and British troops from Iraqi soil.
