Samsung Elec to invest $100 mln to build India plant

SEOUL, Nov 10 (Reuters) Samsung Electronics Co Ltd on Friday said it would invest 0 million to build a plant in India to make televisions and monitors.

Samsung signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Tamil Nadu, the South Korean firm said in a filing with the Korea Exchange.

The investment will be made over the next five years.
