Night temp above normal,day temp normal over rest of country

Pune, Nov 10 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, north Chattisgarh and in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttaranchal and of Gujarat state and were above normal in some parts of Orissa, Marathwada and Vidarbha.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Jammu and Kashmir from where data were sparse.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Telangana, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at mainly dry weather will prevail over the Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and north interior Karnataka.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Jharkhand, Bihar and Rayalaseema.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Orissa and at many places in Gangetic West Bengal and at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya and at mainly dry weather prevailed over the Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Karnataka.
