Dehati gets health, labour portfolio in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Nov 10 (UNI) Lal Hemendra Pratap Dehati, father of jailed Bhawnathpur MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi, was today given the Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education and Labour Employment and Training Department in the UPA backed Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand.

Governor Syed Sibte Razi, on recommendation of Chief Minister Madhu Koda, allocated the portfolio.

Mr Dehati, who is not a member of the state assembly, was administered oath of office and secrecy on November 7 by the Governor.
