Shimla, Nov 10 (UNI) Ram Janam Bhumi temple construction high powered committee member Mahant Suryanath today warned the Central Government against dividing the Hindu community and create hindrance in construction of a Ram temple at Ayodhya, saying the '''money power of government will fail before the Hindu power''.

Addressing a press conference here, he took strong exception to the government proposal to create a separate agency for construction of Ram temple and provide Rs 100 crore for the purpose.

''It is a deplorable attempt to 'buy' the Sants.'' Mr Suryanath said the government was trying to divide the Hindus and the Sants by using ''money power'' after it realised that the verdict in Ram Janam Bhumi temple case might go in favour of Hindus.

It's earlier attempt to divide the Sants through Chandraswami by spending a sum of Rs 66 crore was had failed miserably, he said.

He said the high-powered committee brought a resolution at the meeting of 'margdarshak mandal' (guidance committee) held on September 16 and 17 and cautioned the government to cooperate in construction of the temple instead of creating impediments.

The government's proposal to construct a mosque near the temple would never be allowed, he said, adding that construction work on the temple must start immediately, he said.

He said a nationwide campaign had been launched to implement the resolution passed by high powered committee and meetings would also be held in Himachal from December one to December six to exhort the Hindus to remain united.

The ''dharam sansad'' would held in January 2007 at Prayag (Allahabad) on the occasion of Ardh Kumbha and a nationawide agitation would be launched if the government attempted to stall the construction of the temple.
