Nagpur, Nov 10 (UNI) Bhaiyyalal Bhotmange, whose wife and three children were massacred by villagers in Khairlanji in Bhandara district of Vidarbha recently, has refused the offer of a job from the Maharashtra Government.

Bhotmange gave his refusal in writing on the appointment letter itself when officials handed it over to him shortly after Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's visit to Khairlanji today, Milind Pakhale, Convenor of Khairlanji Action Committee, told UNI by phone today.

Mr Pakhale said Bhotmange told the officials that he did not want a job or rehabilitation, but only justice.

However, Mr Deshmukh himself denied knowledge of the refusal, saying the job was offered on Bhotmange's application.

Bhotmange had been appointed as a watchman at a government hostel for backward class boys in Tumsar in Bhandara District. The Social Justice Department had approved the appointment as a special case.

Bhotmange's wife Surekha (44), daughter Priyanka (18), and sons Roshan (23) and Sudhir (21) were done to death by a mob in the village late on the night of September 30 over a land dispute.
