AP govt 800 youth to be recruited in Forest dept

Hyderabad, Nov 10 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government today announced that about 800 youth would be recruited to fill vacancies in the Forest department.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has consented to fill 800 vacancies for the posts of Forest Beat Officer, Assistant Forest Beat Officer and Forest Section Officer, State Forest Minister S Vijayarama Raju said, speaking after inspecting a Martyrs Day Parade by the Forest officers in memory of Forest personnel who had laid down their lives to protect the rich flora and fauna.

Over the years, vacancies arose in about 40 per cent of the various posts in the department, sources said.
