54th Education Worldwide India Fair from Nov 12

Ahmedabad, Nov 10: A large number of universities and institutions from several countries and various parts of India will be participating in a two-day Education Fair to be held here from Sunday.

They will be showcasing their courses to the students of Ahmedabad to enable them to avail the opportunities, said Mr Sidharth Jain, Chief Marketing Operations of the Global Events and Expositions, the organisers of the 54th Education Worldwide India Fair, in a statment.

He said, ''As new courses are coming up nowadays, the requirement of appropriate guidance is essential to begin a career. We shall be providing up-to-date information on such career options as hotel management, multimedia, tourism, air hostess training, graphic designing, beauty care, polytechnics, language courses, call centres, among others.'' He said about 150 participants are expected to attend the event, that will also be held in other cities like Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Several educatioal consultants will also be participating to help students gain information about admissions to institutions in Singapore, UK, France, Canada, Thailand, US, Australia, New Zealand and others, he added.
