3 killed, 17 injured in road accident

Sitapur, Nov 10 (UNI) At least three people were killed and 18 others injured when a bus carrying a marriage party collided head-on with a truck in Maholi area here today.

Police said the accident occurred near Chadra village on Lucknow-Delhi national highway.

All the injured were rushed to hospital, where Parvez, Zakir and Sufia succumbed during treatment.

Of the 17 wounded, the critically injured Masroor, Saliha, Shafa and another unidentified person were referred to Lucknow for treatment.
