2 killed, 18 injured in road accident

Sitapur, Nov 10 (UNI) At least two people were killed and 18 others injured when a bus carrying a marriage party collided head-on with a truck in Maholi area here today.

Police said the mishap occurred on Lucknow-Delhi national highway killing two passengers on the spot.

The injured were later rushed to hospital.

Meanwhile, the condition of four seriously injured had been referred to Lucknow for treatment.
