Two women die, about a dozen injured in accident

Sirsa, Nov 9 (UNI) Two women died and about a dozen people were injured in a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a tanker on Barnala Road this morning.

According to police, an auto-rickshaw, carrying nearly a dozen people, was heading towards Sikanderpur when it took a wrong turn and dashed into the tanker coming from other side.

The collision was so fierce that a woman died on the spot while another succumbed to her injuries on her way to the hospital.

About a dozen other injured were taken to the local civil hospital.

The police have registered a case in this regard.
