Summer internship of IIM-K students in Yahoo

Kozhikode, Nov 9 (UNI) Six students of the Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) bagged the highest summer internship from Yahoo at a whopping domestic stipend of Rs 45,000 per month.

A release from IIM-K today said here the students Aditya Vikram Jain, Bina Venugopalan, Harish Sasidhar, Samay Narendra, Deepika Raikwar and Sanjy Jolly got the offer at a summer internship recruitment drive conducted at the campus on November 1. The two months programme would start in April, it added.

Apart from them, all the 185 students of the 2008 batch got offers from 63 different corporate houses from India and abroad at different package.

The other firms which offered the highest package were PWC, Cognizant and Standard Chartered Bank.

Other multinationals like Olam International, Dubai-based Al Aqili Group, Pittsburg-based Calance Corporation, Emirates Bank International and US Technology also recruited students of the IIM-K for summer internship programmes, the relase added.
