Punjabi Univ win North-East inter university kho kho

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 9 (UNI) Punjabi University, Patiala won the North and East Inter University Kho Kho championship for men.

The winners garnered six points in the championship which concluded at the Lincoln College of Law today.

Panjab University, Chandigarh were declared the runners up with four points while Kurukshetra University got the third position with two points. MD University, Rohtak was placed fourth.

All the four teams have qualified for the All India inter-university championship. None of the East zone universities could qualify for the All India championship.
