Nagpur, Nov 9 (UNI) The Maharashtra Government has provided employment to Bhaiyyalal Bhotmange, whose wife and three children were massacred by villagers in Khairlanji in Bhandara district of Vidarbha recently.

Bhotmange has been appointed as watchman at a government hostel for backward class boys in Tumsar, Bhandara District Social Welfare Officer R D Atram said.

The Social Justice Department had approved the appointment as a special case and issued the order, Mr Atram said.

Maharashtra Minister for Social Justice Chandrakant Handore had assured Bhotmange of a government job when he visited the village last month.

Bhotmange's wife Surekha (44), daughter Priyanka (18), and sons Roshan (23) and Sudhir (21) were done to death by a mob in the village late on the night of September 30 over a land dispute.
