BEL bags Dun and Bradstreet Award

Bangalore, Nov 9: Defence major Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has been ranked as the top Indian company in the Electrical Electronic Equipment sector by Dun and Bradstreet, India in its assessment of'India's top 500 Companies.

The ranking was based on total income by the BEL. The Company was presented the Dun and Bradstreet Corporate Award 2006. The award consisted a plaque, according to a press release by BEL here today.

BEL recorded a turnover of Rs 3,536 crores for the financial year 2005-06. The turnover has shown a CAGR of 12 per cent to 13 per cent per annum during the last 10 to 12 years and 16 per cent during the last five years.
