Two blasts rock Kashmir, a woman killed and another wounded
Srinagar, Nov 8 (UNI) Militants triggered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in south Kashmir, targeting security forces vehicles today resulting in injuries to one person.
Security forces arrested four militants during a search operation at Uri in north Kashmir, official sources said.
Militants made an abortive bid to blow up a security force vehicle at Gulzarpora, Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama this morning.
However, the blast took place minutes before the vehicle passed the area, they said adding one person was injured.
They said another IED was detonated by militants targeting security forces at Awazgund. However, no one was injured.
They said militants entered the house of one Mohammad Yousuf at Sopore this morning and shot at his wife Raja Bano. She was rushed to hospial where she was declared brought dead.
However , the Militants managed to escape, they added.
