Summary revision of electoral rolls by Nov 18

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Bhaskar today asked all District Collectors except Hyderabad to complete special summary revision of Electoral Rolls by November 18.

Holding Video Conference with the District Collectors, he wanted them to identify Post Offices booth level officials for training to conduct Special Summary Revision.

In a release here Mr Bhaskar said before publishing the final summary revision of voter lists, physical verification should be made thoroughly to carry out the corrections if any.

The CEO advised the Distrcit Collectors to conduct Grama Sabha involving the political parties for deletions of the deceased voters. He also suggested the district Collectors to conduct publicity through banners and posters.

The CEO wanted publication of electoral Rolls for graduates and teachers constituencies by November 22, except for District Collector Hyderabad.

In a separate metting, he urged the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad to take all steps necessary for successful completion of special intensive revision of roll in Hyderabad and for publishing photo electoral roll.
