Punjab badminton championship begins on Nov 10

Jalandhar, Nov 8 (UNI) About 100 shuttlers from various districts of Punjab and PSEB will participate in the Narender Mohan Memorial Senior Punjab Badminton Championship scheduled here from November 10 to 12.

District Badminton Association president and Deputy Commissioner A Venuprasad told reporters here that matches would be played in men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles, women's doubles, mixed doubles and veteran categories.

The state teams for representing Punjab at the Senior National Championship at Patna in January next year, would also be selected on the basis of state championship.
